No More Bus Passes!

Use your KU Card to ride the bus!

Starting Fall 2008, Riders whom wish to board at on campus stops will not be required to show their KUID's. Students, Faculty, and Staff boarding at off campus locations will be required to show their KUID or pay a $1.00 fare. Exact change is required. Children under age 5 may ride fare free when accompanied by a fare-paying or KUID showing adult. Transfers are for those who pay cash and need to use two routes to complete their trip.

• The transfer expires when the connection bus is scheduled to leave the transfer point.
• Transfers are good for one bus change only and can not be used for a round trip.
• Ask the driver for a transfer slip when you board your initial bus.
• Give your transfer slip to the driver of the connecting bus.
• Passengers may not sell or give away transfers.

A Summer 2008 Bus pass costs $30 and may be purchased in the Parking and Transit office located in the Allen Fieldhouse Parking Garage. One-way trip fare may be paid upon boarding a bus in the amount of $1.00.

KU on Wheels is funded by a $64.90/semester required campus fee. $44.90 of this fee is allocated for operations. The remaining $20 is allocated for bus acquisition.
