SafeBus

Fare free Friday and Saturday night transportation system:

SafeBus operates Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. while school is in session. Six accessible buses will be covering three separate routes; with two buses on each route. All rules that apply to daily KU on Wheels and Park & Ride routes also apply to SafeBus. Each bus is equipped with 6 security cameras for rider safety.

To find maps:

• SafeBus insert map in all KU on Wheels maps, available on all buses, KU Parking & Transit, KU Info, and locations throughout campus.
• Smaller brochure maps will be located at establishments throughout Lawrence, as well as locations where KU on Wheels maps may be found.

Additional Restrictions:

• Must present a valid KUID to board.
• All activity will be monitored by an on-board camera system.
